Health & Safety Programs
First Aid Training Program:
At MACCS, the safety and well-being of our employees are of utmost importance. In line with our commitment to create a safe work environment, we have established a comprehensive first aid program which ensures that our employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to respond effectively in emergency situations.
MACCS has recently collaborated with St. John Ambulance, a renowned provider of first aid training, to conduct a comprehensive course for MACCS’ first aiders. The first aid course spanned over three (3) days, allowing our first aiders to delve deep into the essential skills and knowledge needed in emergency situations.
Having a strong contingent of first aiders has had a remarkable impact on the confidence and morale of our employees. Gone are the days of uncertainty and doubt in emergency situations. Knowing that we have a capable team ready to step in when needed, has empowered our employees, and created a positive work environment. It’s comforting to know that our colleagues are not just skilled at brewing great coffee but can also handle medical emergencies with ease.
We’re more than happy to share that our team of first aiders have successfully passed their first aid course exams! We appreciate your commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all. Congrats, team!
Fire Drill Simulation:
On the eventful day of 25th August, MACCS conducted a fire drill in collaboration with NESCO Company to ensure the safety and preparedness of our employees in the face of potential emergency situations. With the goal of creating a safe and secure work environment, our organization took proactive measures to educate our staff on fire safety protocols and procedures.
When it comes to fire safety, being prepared is key. That’s why our fire wardens are armed with top-notch equipment to handle any emergency. From fire extinguishers to first aid kits, they have everything they need to tackle a blaze or provide immediate medical assistance.
But it’s not just about the physical tools. Our fire wardens also receive regular training to ensure they know how to use the equipment effectively. They are well-versed in fire safety protocols and are always ready to jump into action when the need arises.
Once the fire drill is complete, it’s time for reflection. We gather feedback from participants, including employees and the fire wardens, to identify any areas for improvement. These feedback helps us fine-tune our emergency procedures and address any gaps in our preparation.
