MACCS was represented by our Chief Executive Officer, Mr.Charansingh Dabeesing and Technical Lead, Mr.Adithya Dumur at the 2026 World Customs Organization (WCO) Technology Conference & Exhibition, held from the 28th to 30th January 2026 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Under the theme “Customs Agility in a Complex World: Securing and Facilitating Trade through Innovation,” the conference brought together Customs authorities, technology providers, and trade stakeholders around the world to discuss the future of border management and digital trade.
The key discussions were about promoting Smart Customs to enhance efficiency across the trade supply chain. Various tech-talks presented by Customs IT solution providers related to data-driven risk management, the use of Artificial Intelligence in Customs solutions and Systems Integration in the Cloud technologies. The agenda also included emerging innovations such as AI-powered trade analytics, smart scanning technologies, IoT-enabled cargo controls, and digital trade credentials, all aimed at improving trade efficiency, security, and transparency.
