MACCS is also a member of the African Alliance for the Electronic Commerce (AAEC), one of our assignments for 2014 was to organise a workshop to promote awareness on the Mauritius Logistics Single Window.This workshop was organised under the aegis of the World Bank and whose endeavour is to see the CCS as a major element to improve the Ease of Doing Business and the Logistics Performance Indices of Mauritius.

This event was scheduled on the 23rd September 2014 at Maritim Hotel, Balaclava. The Workshop was on the following themes:

1. Coverages of the Single Window
2. Functionalities and advantages provided to the Community (e.g. visibility, traceability, advanced cargo information ,Safe Framework) of the SW
3. Area of improvement
4. Opportunities to connect to Government Authorities, Portals.
